Warranty Policy for Distributor and OEM Customers
Submit A Warranty Claim1. Warranty Period and Activation
The 6-month warranty for motorcycles begins once the product container arrives at the destination port.
2. Warranty Coverage
CDB warrants that each
vehicle is free from defects in materials and factory workmanship, subject to the following
exclusions, obligations and limitations.
If an eligible defect is found, the needed repairs will be performed at no charge to
you for parts.
3. What Is Not Covered
Routine service or periodic maintenance such as tune-ups, oil changes, and service
checks are your responsibility to pay for and have performed, and are not covered by this
warranty.
- Repairs to your vehicle for failures that occurred after the expiration date of the warranty period.
- Damage to the vehicle caused by accidents or
carelessness.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or unreasonable or improper vehicle operation,
such as intentional burning or spinning of the rear tire, shifting gears improperly, overloading, operating the vehicle with the front wheel aloft, or overheating the vehicle’s engine by
operating the vehicle in incorrect gears for vehicle speeds.
- Damage caused by negligence, such as operation of the vehicle with insufficient,
incorrect, or excessive oil, fuel, coolant, or brake fluid.
- Damage caused by alterations or modifications not approved by CDB,
such as use of non-CDB Genuine Parts or Accessories.
- Damage caused by modifications that would change the original vehicle specifications including, without limitation, modifications of any emission-related parts such as
carburetor(s), fuel injection system components, the engine control module, air suction
system components, the catalytic converter (if equipped), fuel permeation control system
components (such as fuel tank, fuel hoses, and vapor hoses), etc.
- Damage to the vehicle from competition, such as racing.
Damage to the vehicle that is caused by insufficient or improperly performed maintenance or repairs, such as not performing maintenance at the intervals required in the
Owner’s Manual, or the use of chemical cleaners that damage the finish of the vehicle.
- Damage to the vehicle caused by improper storage, such as weathered or faded finishes, rusting or corrosion of metal components.
Wearing or deterioration of components subject to normal wear during normal
vehicle operation, such as tires, brake pads or linings, drive chains and sprockets, clutch
plates, body components, spark plugs, any rubber components, with the exception of oil
seals, and fuel, oil, and air filters.
Shipping costs are not covered under the AJ1 limited warranty.

- Light Bulbs, Fuses
- Plastic Covers, Rubber Parts, Grips
- Swing Arm Bushing, Motor Mount Bushing
- Steering Stem Bearings
- Front / Rear Rims, Tires, Tubes
Application Exclusions
Off-road motorcycles that are used for racing are excluded from any warranty coverage.
Limitations
This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damage, such as damage to personal gear or property, rental of a replacement vehicle , transportation of your offroad motorcycle to an authorized dealer for repair, expenses incurred from the loss of use of the vehicle, or your inconvenience.
4. Distributor's Responsibilities for Warranty Claims
1 - Verification of Warranty Claim Eligibility
The distributor is responsible for ensuring that the warranty claim is valid under AJ1moto’s policy. This includes confirming that the issue falls within the covered components (engine inner parts, drive train, front forks, and rear shocks) and is not related to excluded parts like normal wear and tear or the engine clutch.
2 - Timely Notification
The distributor must ensure that the end customers are informed about the 10-day grace period for reporting any missing, incorrect, or defective parts.If an issue arises, the distributor is required to notify AJ1moto within the 10-day grace period after the shipment arrives at the destination port. Failure to notify AJ1moto within this period may result in the warranty claim being denied.
3 - Documentation and Proof
The distributor must submit all necessary documentation to support the warranty claim, which may include photographs, descriptions of the issue, serial numbers, or other relevant information.The distributor is responsible for obtaining and forwarding any required evidence from the end customer that demonstrates the nature of the defect or issue.
4 - Product Inspection and Assessment
The distributor may need to assist in the inspection and assessment of the product to determine whether the warranty claim is valid.In case of defective products or parts, the distributor may need to disassemble or inspect certain components (such as the engine, drive train, or suspension) to verify the issue before proceeding with a claim.
5 - Communication with End Customer
The distributor must communicate with the end customer on behalf of AJ1moto, informing them of the status of the warranty claim, any necessary repairs, replacements, or part returns, and expected timelines.The distributor is responsible for managing customer expectations and ensuring they understand the terms and conditions of the warranty policy.
6 - Return and Replacement Process
If AJ1moto approves a warranty claim, the distributor is responsible for coordinating the return or replacement of the defective part or motorcycle.The distributor should ensure that the defective part is returned to AJ1moto if requested, and that the replacement part is delivered to the end customer promptly.
7 - Post-Claim Monitoring
After the warranty claim is resolved, the distributor is responsible for ensuring that the end customer is satisfied with the resolution.The distributor may also need to follow up to confirm that the issue has been fully addressed and no further action is required.
8 - Record Keeping
The distributor must maintain accurate records of all warranty claims, including communications with customers, documentation submitted, and any resolutions provided.These records should be available for review upon request by AJ1moto or for any future warranty claims.
9 - Costs Associated with Warranty:
In cases where the warranty is accepted, the distributor should be prepared for costs related to shipping, parts, or repairs. These costs will be governed by AJ1moto's warranty terms.
5. Warranty Claim Process and Conditions
Grace Period: After receiving the shipment from the destination port, the buyer has a 10-day grace period to notify CDB in writing of any missing, incorrect, or defective parts. This notification must be sent within the 10-day period from the shipment's arrival at the destination port.
Failure to Notify: If no written notification is received within the 10-day grace period, the buyer forfeits the right to raise any claim for missing parts, incorrect parts, or quality issues after the 10-day period.
Non-Negotiable Payment Terms: If the buyer does not notify AJ1moto of any issues within the specified grace period, the buyer is still obligated to pay the full balance of the order. Claims for wrong, missing, or quality issues cannot be used as a reason to withhold payment.
We will require some information to investigate your problem: The model, frame
number (VIN), mileage, event dates, your problem or question, and any modifications or accessories your
vehicle has that might be related to the problem.
